The Estate comprises of 700-year old, 30,000 sq ft Lee Castle, with Titles of Baron or Baroness, recognized by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, all the ancient contents including centuries old wall to wall tapestries, two lodge houses and 261 acres.

The Lee is a noble and enchanted home. The Kings and Queens and the many Honorable in-betweens who have called Lee Castle home, or who have passed here before, were responsible for many great adventures. The volumes they left behind tell many stories of war and peace, happiness, power, romance, betrayal, and after seven centuries, even mystery.

Medieval Lee Castle was remodeled almost two hundred years ago in a Gothic style, with the help of Augustus Welby Pugin, the legendary architect and Gothic designer who amongst his many accomplishments helped design and build the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

Majestic and completely original, Lee Castle stands triumphantly, hidden in the countryside of the Valley of the Clyde. The Lee is a remarkable monument to history and ancient culture, located in the most private and picturesque surroundings in Scotland.

Though it boasts all modern day amenities, the original character and charm has been carefully maintained. It offers true insight into the great relevance of history, tradition and the consequences of the actions of men and women, who by their deeds over the ages have brought us to this date.
